Overview :

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM & CMDB Developer to design, implement, and maintain IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions, including CMDB, discovery, service mapping, and integrations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in optimizing ITOM functionalities to improve configuration management, operational efficiency, and IT service reliability. This role requires strong technical skills and a proactive approach to delivering robust ServiceNow solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Discovery and Event Management:
    • Implement and manage ServiceNow Discovery to identify and maintain Configuration Items (CIs).
    • Configure and optimize ServiceNow Event Management, including integrations with third-party monitoring tools.
    • Diagnose and resolve complex discovery and event management issues.
  2. CMDB Management and Enhancement:
    • Manage and enhance the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring alignment with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
    • Ensure CI data integrity, compliance, and governance standards.
    • Implement advanced CMDB features, including Agent Client Collector (ACC) and service mapping for application and infrastructure components.
  3. Integration and Customization:
    • Build and optimize integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, and APIs for tools like AD, MID Servers, and cloud environments.
    • Develop custom discovery patterns, workflows, and solutions tailored to specific business needs.
  4. Collaboration and Agile Development:
    • Work within a Scrum-based Agile framework to deliver scalable, functional solutions.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements and mock-ups into ServiceNow features.
    • Document configurations, customizations, and integrations comprehensively.

Basic Qualifications :

  • ServiceNow ITOM Expertise: Proven experience in implementing and managing ServiceNow Discovery and Event Management solutions.
  • CMDB Knowledge: Strong understanding of the CMDB lifecycle, including discovery, service mapping, and CI data integrity.
  • Integrations: Hands-on experience with REST, SOAP, and API integrations for systems like AD, MID Servers, and credential stores.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript and the ability to develop custom patterns and workflows.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with cloud-native infrastructure and cloud discovery tools.
  • CSDM Framework: Strong knowledge of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience implementing ServiceNow Agent Client Collector (ACC).
  • Hands-on experience integrating ServiceNow Event Management with third-party monitoring solutions.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
