Job Summary :-

We are looking for a highly skilled ServiceNow Manual/Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of ServiceNow applications through a combination of manual and automated testing. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and expertise in testing methodologies to identify and resolve defects.

As a ServiceNow Tester, you will work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define testing requirements, create test cases, and develop automated testing scripts using frameworks like Selenium and Appium. The goal is to ensure that all ServiceNow modules, workflows, and integrations meet the highest quality standards before deployment.

Key Responsibilities :-

  • Test Planning & Requirement Analysis:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather testing requirements and specifications.
    • Define test objectives, scope, and acceptance criteria for ServiceNow applications.
    • Develop test strategies and execution plans for both manual and automated testing.
  • Manual & Automation Testing Execution:

    • Design and execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts for various ServiceNow modules.
    • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, or similar tools).
    • Perform functional, regression, system integration, and performance testing to validate platform enhancements and upgrades.
    • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness in ServiceNow applications.
  • Defect Management & Troubleshooting:

    • Identify, document, and report bugs, defects, and anomalies using defect tracking tools.
    • Work closely with developers, architects, and stakeholders to investigate and troubleshoot issues.
    • Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring defects.
  • Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization:

    • Enhance testing methodologies, frameworks, and automation scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and advancements in ServiceNow testing.
    • Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize testing workflows.
  • Documentation & Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate test documentation, reports, and test artifacts for audits and compliance.
    • Provide test summary reports, test execution status updates, and defect tracking reports to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications :-

  • Proven experience as a Manual/Automation Tester, specifically testing ServiceNow applications.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform functionalities and modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or other relevant modules).
  • Experience in designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases.
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.
  • Solid knowledge of testing methodologies, software testing life cycle (STLC), and defect management best practices.
  • Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestNG, QTest, or HP ALM.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve defects.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :-

  • Experience in API testing for ServiceNow integrations using tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) for native ServiceNow testing automation.
  • Exposure to ITIL best practices and ServiceNow development methodologies.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Prior experience in performance and security testing of ServiceNow applications.
