Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Testing Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a SAP Testing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our SAP systems through comprehensive testing procedures. You will collaborate closely with our development, implementation, and support teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance of our SAP applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SAP applications, including both manual and automated testing methods.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of SAP modules and components.
- Identify, analyze, and document defects and inconsistencies in SAP systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and address them.
- Create and maintain test data, environments, and configurations for testing purposes.
- Work closely with SAP functional consultants, developers, and business users to understand requirements and business processes, and translate them into test scenarios.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely and effective communication of testing progress, issues, and risks.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay current with SAP technologies, updates, and best practices to ensure compliance and alignment with industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP testing, with expertise in testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP CRM, SAP BW/BI, etc.
- Hands-on experience with SAP testing tools such as SAP Solution Manager, HP ALM, SAP TAO, etc.
- Proficiency in SAP testing techniques including end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and system integration testing (SIT).
- Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, UFT/QTP, etc., is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- SAP certification(s) is a plus.
