Overview :

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Portal Developer to join our team. This role will involve close collaboration with business and product teams to deliver high-quality ServiceNow solutions within an Agile framework. As part of our ServiceNow practice, you’ll have continuous opportunities to expand your skills and work on new and challenging projects.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Portal Development and Customization:
    • Design and implement complex portal pages and custom widgets on the ServiceNow platform.
    • Ensure UI matches design specifications across portal pages, implementing designer-provided interfaces and layouts.
  2. Optimization and Issue Resolution:
    • Identify and resolve UI performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal user experience.
    • Troubleshoot and fix complex widget defects, enhancing functionality and reliability.
  3. Testing and Upgrade Readiness:
    • Write ATF (Automated Test Framework) tests to maintain high standards of code quality.
    • Analyze usage statistics to refine portal functionality and ensure custom widgets/pages are prepared for platform upgrades.
  4. Collaboration and Effective Communication:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams and adapt communication styles to engage with diverse stakeholders.
    • Use active listening and conflict management skills to drive project success in a dynamic environment.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Engineering, MCA, or equivalent education.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience on the ServiceNow platform, with at least 2 years in custom service portal development.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, Bootstrap, SQL, and experience with ServiceNow platform integrations, configurations, and custom widget creation.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, with a self-motivated approach and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) certification.
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications (bonus for Portal Fundamentals, Portal Advanced).
  • Experience with web development and Agile methodologies is a plus.
